 "Thomas H. Kinneair of Warsaw was born July 2, 1832 and was in his 74th year... He was never married ... The deceased has three sisters living and they are, Mrs. Temple Miller and Misses Mar A. and Jamimie Kinneair with whom he has always lived... There were many noble traits of character in his life that are worthy of emulation, and among them were his steadfastness to friends, his honesty, his bravery, and his Democracy. During the War between the States, Mr. Kinneair was in the cavalry service and on many battlefields he won praise from his fellow soldiers for his daring deeds. He was a member of William J. Houston Camp of Confederate Veterans... a Son of the Old south..."
