Mary Elizabeth Thornton: Conceived, developed and coordinated the whole cemetery project for the Captain James and David John Middleton cemeteries and funded it out of personal finances to get the job done in a timely manner; family plans are to reimburse for these expenses over a period of years through individual contributions. She also supplied the photograph of the Capt. James Middleton DAR marker and the photographs of the Captain James Middleton and David John Middleton cemeteries and gravestones for this website.
Allen Thornton and James Thornton: Mowed at both cemeteries when needed since 1998.
Annie Thornton: Assisted in planting bushes and flowers at both cemeteries.
James & Linda Thornton: Helped plant the five Crepe Myrtles and have cleaned the cemetery each year from 1998 - 2005.
